Lesson 2 Addition up to 10 worksheets

Worksheets teach to adding

In the previous lesson students learned that there are many ways to make a ten. These facts are easy to memorize because all the facts add up to 10. Also, some of the facts use the same two add-ins and they look almost exactly like each other.

For example, four plus six equals ten and six plus four equals ten are related. In addition, that is why they are connected. In this lesson, students will continue to find the matching facts such as 3 plus 7 equals 10 and 7 plus three equals 10. Let’s connect those now.

Let’s look at part two. Here students find the missing add-ins that make each equation true. In rows ABC and D the two facts in each row go together.

For example:

1 plus 9 equals 10, and 9 plus 1 equals 10.
